We had such a beautiful sunrise this morning. It always seems like, after bad storms pass through, we always get a beautiful sunrise the following day. So I wrote this haiku to encapsulate the experience.
Nighttime surrenders
Vibrant light beams cut the dark
Sun blooms the new day
Let me know what you think!
Thanks for reading!

I wish I took that picture. It is beautiful. It was taken by Image by Lars_Nissen from Pixabay. The sunrise this morning, actually the last two mornings, has been breathtaking. I didn’t have a camera to take a picture, so I just soaked in the moment, hoping I’d be able to articulate it later.

Sorry…I can not see the discription below. Take your smartphone. Click a picture. Write a poem on it. Maybe it’ll be an interesting experience for you. Pixabay is the best place for pictures.

Great advice. I regret not taking my smartphone or a camera with me. Maybe tomorrow it’ll be another beautiful sunrise. 👍

That’s a beautiful picture, almost like a fantasy. I wonder how early one has to get up in order to see this sunrise.

I know. It’s such a beautiful picture. The sunrise I experienced this morning was beautiful but there is something about this picture. ☺️

I love it! Especially “blooms” in the last line. Life returning to the world as flowers flourish in spring 🙂

Beautiful words. I have some sunset and sunrise photos that are almost that good. 🙂

Thank you! Glad you like it. You are lucky to have captured those moments! Every time there is a beautiful sunrise or sunset, I am without a camera or phone. It is all about timing, I suppose. I’ll have to be patient; I’ll get a pic one of these days!

I don’t leave home without either my phone or my camera. As a photographer, I always wonder when the next spectacular moment will happen. 🙂

That may get stuck in your head now! “Don’t leave home without it”….”Don’t leave home without it”. LOL! 🙂

It’s captivating. Leaves room for the imagination of a new day and new beginning. I also think about day and night as a state of the human spirit.
