A Haiku, The Rain

I just thought of this haiku last night as I was staring out my office window. I could see lightning in the distance and a little rumble of thunder. Shortly after the lightning, it started to rain.

Taps on the rooftop
Lightning dances with vengeance
The clouds start to weep

Let me know what you think!
Thanks for reading!

    1. Oh, wow!😊 Thank you for the compliment! It means a lot! Glad you loved it. Ah, yes the last line! When I wrote it “The clouds start to weep” fit and sounded just perfect. I’m glad you mentioned that line. Thank you so much for reading and the support! β˜ΊοΈπŸ™

    1. Thank you for the compliment! It’s been years since I wrote haikus, just got back into writing them this year. I Love the challenge of trying to convey a message in such few words. Every word needs to be impactful. I do enjoy them. Thank you so much for reading!
