A Haiku, The Wild Bears

So this haiku originated with a simple verse from a Winnie The Pooh jingle,
“I’m so rumbly in my tumbly
Time to munch an early luncheon
hum da de dum dum.”

It got me thinking about what bears will go through just for sustenance. With no reservations at all, they will swing their arms through swarms of bees just to get to the honey.
So, needless to say, I wrote a haiku about bears!

Swat as the bees swarm
Unfettered you eat to live
Harvest the honey

Let me know what you think!
Thanks for reading!

      1. Hahah! Love it! Well done. πŸ‘πŸ˜‚ It is beary nice to meet you too! Wow, had to really fight with autocorrect on all of those “bear” and “bee” play on words. πŸ˜‚

      2. It was a struggle. 😩. And now, here is a random predictive text comment: “I don’t have a phone I just got home from the store and I will get back with the other person to get it done” and one more…”I think I will be able to help me with that one day at the moment I have to go back down there to see if it works for you” πŸ˜‚

      3. Lol! I think I’m picking up vibes of an emerging haiku or story. Predictive text kind of reads like twisted poetry. If you hadn’t told me, I’d be looking for some deeper meaning. Probably can see it right now too.
        That’s totally crazy!
But we might be on to something…

      4. YES! Wow, I love that idea! Haha! Yeah, only to realize in the end it was predictive text driving the story/poem.πŸ˜‚
I am going to have to mess around with creating something like that, I think it would be really fun/funny to share! I’ll be sure to credit you with the thought and whatnot. I think you might be on to something. πŸ˜πŸ‘

      5. Now that’s the right spirit.
Travis, you have to get right to it.
It would be such a creative piece of writing.
So whip out that phone and type some sweet nothings on it. I think you’ll be surprised with what you find.
And this could be the next big thing!
Of course, due credit will be taken with much thanks. πŸ˜„

    1. πŸ˜‚ Yeah! Gotta show The Pooh bear some love! My sons love the songs from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. They are constantly playing when we are driving around. So, needless to say, I know all of the songs too. Haha. πŸ™ƒ
